All the way south in Huila, Colombia, in Las Eras near the municipality of San Augustin, Orlando Ordoñez has his four hectare farm at an altitude of 1700 masl. Orlando Ordoñez is one of the founding members of the producer group we work with for the third consecutive harvest - Los Cauchos.

After picking, the cherry is pulped - skin and some mucilage is removed and the coffee is fermented for 14 hours. After, the remaining mucilage is washed off, and dried to below 12% moisture content in parabolic driers.

Fruit aroma and round texture with juicy flavours of strawberry, peach, and honey.
