In the northern part of Colombia, in the department of Santander, El Roble is situated on the plateau called Mesa do los Santos. The farm is a 740 acre organic farm owned by Oswaldo Acevedo.
What is unique and impressive about El Roble, is the commitment to sustainable practices and management conducted at the farm. The difference in quality only from last year to this year has been remarkable - Oswaldo and his team made many changes in their pursue of quality. We are impressed by the efforts they have put into refining the processing of the coffee - the farm truly has one of the most thought through solutions for drying coffee we’ve seen in a long time. For us, it is exciting to offer this organic coffee, as it is the first crop we are buying from Oswaldo and his team - and we are equally excited about the future crops coming out of El Roble.
