All our coffees are roasted locally by Master Roaster Michael Piccolo in Burnaby, BC at 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters®. If you have a special request for some rare coffees not specified on our menu please email info@49thparallelroasters.com

Note: Shipping Policy
We ship daily, Monday to Friday. All orders received by midnight, will be shipped the next day. Upon shipping, you will be emailed a tracking number to follow your shipment. All shipments are made with UPS, and your location will determine length of shipment. UPS shipping times are based on metropolitan areas. Residential areas are sometimes later.

To reduce shipping costs: shipping for 1-3 bags is the same, a fourth bag is marginally more.

Brazil Fazenda Apucarana

This Mundo Novo varietal is grown in rich volcanic soil at an altitude of 1250 meters in the Cerrado de Minas region of Brazil.

The espresso is sweet, syrupy and is distinguished with excellent acidity, a buttery mouthfeel and a decadent brown sugar finish.

An estate coffee that displays tropical fruits, a smooth body and a unique aftertaste of rhubarb. This lively and winey offering comes from the Thika District and is grown in volcanic soil. Grown in the high plains at an altitude of 1616 metres, the acidity and sweetness shine through.

Micro-lot

A complex offering with syrupy flavours of mango, grape and cherry, partnered with milk chocolate through the cup. Good body, sweet acidity with a clean and fruity finish. This shade grown Caturra varietal is washed and sundried, and grown at an altitude of 1500-1800 meters.

Kenya AA Mount Kenya

The high plateaus of Mount Kenya, plus the acidic soil provide excellent conditions for growing coffee plants. This year the Mount Kenya was vacuum packaged at origin to preserve its freshness and quality.

An excellent Kenyan with lemon acidity and wine sweetness. Touch of citron and milk chocolate with a crisp and dry finish.

Natural - Processed Micro-lot #3

This natural processed micro-lot has an abundance of flavour! Vanilla aromatics and sweet blueberries open up this fresh cup. Pure and rich with intense berry-toned flavours and citrus characteristics. Full body and balanced.

This coffee is hand sorted, vacuum packed at origin (no jute bags!) and rare. We are so excited to have this that we had it flown to our roaster, rather than waiting for it to arrive via traditional shipping.

Organic Ethiopia Yergacheffe Koke Cooperative

Grade 1

This remarkable coffee is grown at a very high altitude of at least 2000 meters. Grown in the Gedeo zone, this coffee is washed, sundried and vacuum packaged at origin.

Incredibly floral with tea-like subtleties and berry flavours. Medium acidity, modest body and pleasant sweetness. Long caramel finish with a touch of apricot peeking through.

This coffee was grown in the red clay soils of the Bonko farm located in the Sidama region of Ethiopia. Bonko farm consists of 300 farmers with an average farm size of 1 hectare. The farm is certified organic, shade grown and vacuum packaged at origin.

Raspberry, sweet apricot and a base of cocoa. Favourable acidity that is in balance with the rich texture. Sweet, refreshing and clean.
